Drawing inspiration from Burton’s headquarter’s and snowboard fabrication shop in Burlington, Vermont the NY store design incorporates authentic materials including barn wood, distressed steel and reclaimed wood timbers along side the cutting edge technology of synonymous with Burton’s name.
The store design highlights the rich history of it’s SOHO location through the restoration of the existing historical building. The original iron columns were stripped to their original raw finish and the historical molding was restored. Other features include a vintage chairlift inspired structure, a snowboard fabrication press and a wood cabin made from reclaimed timbers.
